Annotation The module "Supply Chains Analysis and Management" is aimed at developing supply chain analysis and management methods and developing practical skills in their application. Students are introduced to supply chain operation principles, discuss modern approaches to supply chain management, paying particular attention to supply chain dynamics (in particular, analyzing the Bullwhip effect, its sources, consequences and diminishing possibilities), get acquainted with supply chain management methods and software. Having completed the practical assignments, students study typical supply chain management problems. Using simulation-based business games (in particular, “The Beer Game”) and related sofware tools, students gain practical experience and learn the ways to solve these problems..
