The aim of the course: to acquire basic English grammar skills applying them in written and oral speech. Objectives of the course: 1) to develop students’ knowledge and skills on the basis of the existing knowledge and skills; 2) to acquire theoretical knowledge in practical English grammar 3) to learn the most important grammatical notions to be able to use them appropriately

Students are able to recognize and apply in practice theoretical content of definite grammar rules in oral and written speech. - Assessment: 3 tests, exam.
Students are able to formulate, compare, and classify the most important grammar concepts. - Assessment: 3 tests, exam.
Students are able to evaluate independently knowledge and skills in practical grammar acquired, analyzing and solving existing individual problems. - Assessment: 3 tests, exam. Evaluation: tests – tested/not tested; exam – according to 10 grade scale
