The study course gives an opportunity to get acquainted with some of the areas of study program and be prepared for the writing the master thesis. Student obtains advanced knowledge in the field on business management, as well as is able to choose the direction of research that suits his/her interests. The study subject provides the conditions for the development of necessary competences for working with scientific literature, primary and secondary data, empirical research, evaluation, analysis and interpretation of research results, preparation and presentation of the report..

|The aim of the course is to give the students an opportunity to get acquainted with some of the areas of study program and be prepared for the writing the master thesis. Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to: use relevant scientific literature, apply research methods to solve a given scientific task, collect data for empirical research, formulate new scientific questions, perform a research project according to an individual study plan, show independence, critical and creative thinking, document results by writing a research report and scientific paper.|
Conduct a research project in accordance with the individual study plan. - The scientific supervisor advises and controls the progress of the research. The student prepares 5 min. long presentation on the result of a certain stage. 30% of the final grade.
Reflect the results in the report and scientific article. - Report and scientific article. 40% of the final grade.
Present research results. - Participation in the student scientific conference with the presentation. 30% of the final grade.
|Course prerequisites||The subject is based on the knowledge acquires in the 1st year of the master study program.|
