Annotation Transducers of non-electrical quantities are very important in different areas of human activities. Transducers are used to convert non-electrical quantities to electrical quantities which are more convenient for further processing and storage. In this subject students can widen their knowledge of various physical effects (e.g. Hall effect, AMR effect, and so on) and electrical methods which are used for measurements of non-electrical quantities. Students can widen their knowledge of principle of operation of electronic instruments for measuring non-electrical quantities..

To give knowledge for students on various physical effects used for conversion of non-electrical quantities to electrical quantities; to give knowledge for students on various electrical methods used for measuring non-electrical quantities; to help students to understand a role of the transducers in electronics; to improve understanding theory of the transducers by control tests and lab sessions; to train students to gain practical experience on using different physical effects used for conversion of non-electrical quantities to electrical quantities.
