The aim of the course is to provide students with the theoretical knowledge and help them to see practical use of gained knowledge in real environment. After the course students will be able to: -use systems approach for problem detection and finding solution; -identify the stakeholders, stakeholder interests and put forward adequate targets and tasks that can be explained to them; -understand internal and external factors of the company's operations, is able to put forward economically feasible proposals to improve the company's business; -independently acquire, select and analyze information.

Able to understand the processes occurring in the economy and the company's operational interconnections - Practical works, exam. Criteria: Student demonstrates the ability to use a systems approach for detecting the problem and solving
Able to identify and formulate the company's strategy, mission and goals in a dynamic economic environment - Practical works, exam. Criteria: able to purposefully use environmental methods of analysis to evaluate the situation and to make decisions about the company's operations
Able to choose and apply the methods to increase the management effectiveness - Practical work, exam. Criteria: ability to use integrated management structure, the practical work demonstrates the ability to use the situation approach
Able to evaluate effectiveness of organizational structure - Practical work, exam. Criteria: have knowledge about the organizational structure types, know this strengths and weaknesses and shows the abilities to make the necessary structural changes
Able to make valid decisions to solving a problems - Practical work, exam. Criteria: have knowledge about decision-making technologies and demonstrates the ability to assess decisions from an economic and ethical point of view
