Annotation The study course covers the classification of medical equipment by interaction with human-generated and artificially generated energy. The development trends of medical physics and biomedical engineering are also considered. The study course describes applications of diagnostic and treatment equipment based on interaction with a human being. The study course also considers types of energy-based devices: electrical, magnetic, electromagnetic, mechanical, thermal, and acoustic. Within the framework of the study course, a student has to prepare a report on the applications and development trends of the chosen medical device..
