The aim of the study course is to acquaint students with the national policy, role of customs and tax adiministration, as well as provide knowledge on public sector organisation, public sector functioning and reforms, public sector finances and finance and budget system..

The study course provides an opportunity to understand interrelations of national and international institutional sector with customs and tax administration. It is a specialization course that gives an insight into public sector economics, finance and budget system, system development. Its aim is to acquaint students with the financial system in Latvia and abroad.

Able to identify the key players at national and international levels, the impact of public sector on tax and customs policy and resources. - Case study, final examination
