The goal of the master work is to demonstrate student's abilities to perform a single handled theoretical and experimental research. Student has to apply knowledge acquired during his/her previous studies to perform single handled selection and analysis of scientific literature, to demonstrate the skills to choose appropriate experimental methods, to curry out experiments, skills to prepare the samples of materials regarding the self made microstructure design, to investigate the properties, to analyze results and to make conclusions.
Learning outcomes
and assessment
During the elaboration of master thesis, student shows: The ability to find and analyze the scientific literature in the field of Materials science regarding to given task without assistance. - Positive evaluation regarding the quality from supervisor and referee.
The ability to chose appropriate experimental methods, prepare samples of materials regarding self made structure design; curry out experimental investigations and make conclusions without assistance. - Positive evaluation regarding the quality from supervisor and referee.
The ability to present and discuss the obtained results in the auditorium of experts. - Public presentation (defence) of master thesis.
