Master thesis is an affirmation of completed master studies in the field of selected specialisation. Master thesis is supervised by a professor of the relevant field. Thesis reflects student’s ability to carry out research tasks self dependently and to write scientific publications. .

|Research and design of composite materials. Ability to use scientific research methods for practical applications. Ability to carry out research problems self dependently and in given time. Proof of ability is finished master thesis which includes description of problem, its solution and obtained results. Ability to reason about methods and alternative solutions. Thesis is written in style of scientific publication.|
Knowledge of new composite materials and their mechanical properties. Ability to use this knowledge for structural analysis and determination of operation parameters of structures.
Ability to carry out laminated composite material durability tests and to solve design problems by using commercial software packages.
Ability to carry out composite material durability calculations for known loading and material durability data by using commercial software packages. Be able to evaluate obtained results and to determine possibilities of durability increase.
