The course “Financial analysis and planning” is related to financial management and aimed to help students understand how to assess company's financial condition as well as develop the ability to take managerial decisions on company's financial performance improvement. The objectives of the course are: assuring the understanding the methods of financial analysis, developing the skills in financial ratio analysis and ability to make proper conclusions, as well as valid suggestions for improvement of company’s financial condition, assuring theoretical knowledge and practical skills in budget development.

Able to use various methods to analyze the company's financial condition. - Students have to complete relevant tasks displayed in lecture materials in the ORTUS system. The real company's financial data should be used for completion assigned tasks. Tasks are assessed by 10 points scale. This is an obligatory precondition for examination.
