Enable students to create awareness on intellectual property protection and fundamentals of patents, including creation of awareness of the types of intellectual property, the understanding of options of industrial property protection in Latvia and in the world, developing an understanding of patent law in Latvia and Europe, as well as create awareness of application of skills acquired in practice.
