The students will be able to identify and describe the basics of production engineering, i.e. to recognize the type of production system, identify, define and describe the characteristics of perspective production systems, outline principles of automation, implement principles of system engineering in planning and management of production system and product life cycle. The students will be able to explain differences between conventional and nonconventional technological process, recognize the type of technological process, identify the structure of technological processes, realize technological process planning and routing with selection and calculation of machining conditions.
