Annotation The study course reviews the characteristics of measurement tools and instruments, their principles of operation and design. Measuring principles of various physical quantities are also explained. The study course is devoted to electronic measurement instruments and transducers, especially to those used in medical equipment. The study course contains laboratory exercises, including measurement amplifier prototyping and parameter analysis..

1. To provide students with the theoretical knowledge on principles of operation and design of modern measurement equipment. 2. To develop skills necessary for measurement equipment use, result processing and interpretation. 3. To enable students to enhance their understanding of a simple measuring bench setup and application.
