Annotation The basic regulations of dosage forms manufacture in industrial establishments. Good manufacturing practice. Dosage forms characterization, fundamental princips of dosage forms development and manufacturing process. Quality assessment of dosage forms. Medicine and food interaction. Active substances and excipients. Characterization and specific character of preparation of solid dosage forms (powders, granules, tablets), aerosol packages, semisolid dosage forms (ointments, cerams, gels, drugs for rectal administration, plasters), dosage forms for parenteral administration, disperse systems (suspensions, emulsions), gelatin capsules. Biopharmaceutics.

To provide the knowledge about regulations regarding the development and manufacture of different dosage forms in industrial establishments, role and application of different excipients in development of dosage forms, quality assessment of dosage forms, application of biopharmaceutical research in vitro in development of dosage forms; to promote obtaining of competences in fundamental principles of development and manufacturing of dosage forms
