Annotation Mathematical models and parameters of components for electronic circuits. Design of specific models. Computerized design and tuning of electronic circuit parameters. The basic design can be simplified, due to additivity features of SPICE. Solution examples: equalizers, audio power amplifiers, DC power supply, digital counters and their use for volume and treble/bass tuning..

of competences and skills
The goal is to obtain the skills of a computerized designer for electronic circuits and equipment. The course material increases the general knowledge about the electronic circuit functions. Diligent course studies improve the skills of a CAD designer and promote usage of designer skills developing project for a master thesis.

Ability to describe the circuit in the programme and to receive the required simulation results. - Laboratory work No. 1
Ability to extract SPICE parameters from the manufacturer’s data and characteristics. - Laboratory work No. 2
Ability to draw the electrical circuit in the appropriate form for analysis and to obtain the required parameters and characteristics. - Home task No. 1
Ability to draw the electrical circuit in the appropriate form for the specified analysis and to improve the scheme parameters: optimization of DC parameters, ensuring stability, expansion of the frequency bandwidth, Bode plot optimization, reduction of nonlinear distortions, etc. - Home task No. 2; practical part of the examination
